House Rules Welcome! By booking this stay, you agree to follow these House Rules. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our building safe and comfortable. 1. Registration & Access Licensing Requirements: In accordance with the City of Calgary Short-Term Rental Bylaw, we are required to maintain a secure electronic register of all guests. Verification: Please be prepared to confirm your name and ID via the messaging system prior to your arrival. This is a mandatory condition for receiving check-in instructions and access codes. No Third-Party Bookings: The person who made the reservation must be the one checking in. Transferring reservations is not permitted. Building Security: For the safety of all residents, do not let unknown individuals into the building. Any action compromising building security may result in immediate cancellation without refund. 2. Stay Guidelines Quiet Hours: 10 PM – 8 AM. Please respect our neighbors. No parties, loud music, or gatherings are allowed. Occupancy: Only registered guests are permitted on the premises. No outside visitors at any time. Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment. Smoking is allowed on the balcony only. An extra deep-cleaning fee will apply if smoke odor is detected indoors. Pets: No pets allowed (building rule). 3. Amenities & Usage Laundry Access: In-suite laundry is available for stays of 3 nights or more. For short stays (1-2 nights), laundry is not accessible. Hazardous Items: Hazardous, flammable, or illegal items are strictly prohibited. Luggage: Excessive luggage inconsistent with a short-term stay is not permitted. 4. Responsibility & Damages Property Protection: Guests are responsible for any intentional damage (vandalism, broken furniture, burn marks). Such actions will result in immediate eviction and a full compensation claim via the booking platform. Keys & Fobs: Guests are financially responsible for lost keys, fobs, or garage remotes. 5. Check-Out Instructions To avoid additional fees, please ensure the following before departing: Climate Control: Turn off the Air Conditioning (summer) or set the Heating to a minimum energy-saving level (winter). Electronics: Ensure the TV and Electric Fireplace are turned off. Appliances: Turn off all lights and small appliances. Kitchen: All used dishes and cookware must be washed and stored. Waste: Place all trash in the building’s designated bins. Closing: Close the balcony door tightly and return all keys/fobs to their designated location.
